Because wRatings is an independent research firm, we strongly believe in using outside experts to evaluate our performance and retain our integrity. While our Board of Advisors does not hold fiduciary or legal responsibilities to wRatings, they advise wRatings on our business approach, technology and management practices.

Scott D. Holland
Scott has over 26 years of experience in information systems consulting and strategic business planning in both the public and private sector. He has worked with CIO’s from the world’s leading companies on developing IT strategies designed to drive higher levels of IT efficiency and effectiveness, and identify opportunities to optimize investment strategies to save millions of dollars in non-discretionary spending.

Today, Scott serves as senior executive advisor and leading consultant for many of today's marketing leading companies. He typically focuses on a broad range of areas including IT Strategy, IT/Business alignment, enterprise architecture, governance practices, sourcing strategies, software selection, IT process optimization, and M&A IT assessments.

Prior to his current role, Scott was the Global IT Practice Leader for the Hackett Group’s IT Executive Advisory Program (EAP) and Benchmarking services. He provided leading companies with access to world-class performance metrics, peer-learning opportunities, best practice insights and recommendations designed to achieve overall world-class performance. He worked with CIO’s from the world’s leading companies on developing IT strategies designed to drive higher levels of IT efficiency and effectiveness, and identify opportunities to optimize investment strategies to save millions of dollars in non-discretionary spending. Frequently quoted and published by industry analyst on topics of emerging IT trends and best practices.

Michael A. Jackson
Mike is an active investor and enterprising leader to many organizations. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing and Distribution at Coda Automotive Ltd. Coda is a California-based manufacturer of electric car and battery systems.

Mike was the General Motors North America Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. With General Motors, Mike was responsible for directing the marketing, advertising, and media efforts for the eight GM vehicle divisions with a $2.4 billion budget. During his tenure at GM, he was credited for break-through thinking that triggered record revenue and unprecedented change in how GM promotes its cars, trucks and corporate image. Among his many accomplishments, Jackson implemented a PR plan in 2006 that improved GM’s image from 100 to 3rd in the Delahaye Index. (The Delahaye Index is a syndicated analysis of corporate reputation of the 100 largest US based companies.)

During his tenure he made significant changes in the way GM marketed it’s eight domestic brands. He restructured the relationship between GM and its’ advertising and media agencies and shifted millions of dollars from television to the Internet. Jackson also led the most successful new product launches in company history, which included the Chevy Silverado, Cadillac Escalade, and the GMC Acadia. During his tenure he also implemented the GM 100k mile warranty, which served a critical role in changing opinion and improving consideration of key GM brands. Prior to his promotion, Mike was the regional general manager of GM's Western Region, where he led the sales, marketing, and distribution efforts for the region's 16 member states since February 2002. During his tenure in the western US, GM was the only domestic manufacturer to gain sales and market share. Jackson became known for implementing many non-traditional sales and marketing tactics.

Prior to joining GM, Mike held key leadership positions, spanning more than 20 years, in a variety of sales and marketing assignments at Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Co, and Coors Brewing Company.

Robert D. McCormack
Bob is a member of the Pasadena Angels, group of leading private investors that provide long-term human and financial capital to help build successful companies.

Bob is a seasoned Information Technology senior executive who has 25+ years of developing and executing strategic IT plans that support and drive the strategic plans of large and mid- cap multi-site domestic and international companies. Bob creates integrated IT solutions that move a company’s agenda forward more effectively and efficiently. Most recently he served as Senior VP/Chief Information Officer at Aramark Corp. for the Uniform and Career Apparel Group from 1998 through 2007.

During his time at Aramark, Bob led the implementation of numerous systems and technology innovations which allowed the company to achieve record revenue growth over the past few years. As the position was responsible for three different companies within the Group, Bob was able to standardize much of the operation and to create a ‘Shared Services’ model for the IT structure, thereby controlling costs and better utilizing the resources available.

With an emphasis on Oracle based systems, Bob was able to develop the various requirements and structure within the organization while maintaining a common base and full integration of the businesses. Bob also led the use of out-sourcing for development as well as hosting and infrastructure, leading to cost savings and improved performance.

Bob has been active within the IT network and has spoken at and served on numerous panels at industry conferences. He has been a member of the Oracle Advisory Board, the CIO Executive Forum advisory board, the SIM Advanced Practices Council, and serves on the advisory board for the Sourcing Interest Group, ISM Alliance, EnCompass, and the wRatings Corporation.

John A. White III
John White is currently President of Fortna, Inc., a leading provider of supply chain solutions. He has over 20 years of consulting experience with the top tier consulting firms.

John was the Vice President of Supply Chain Management with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young U.S., LLC. He was responsible for P&L, defining strategy and solutions and as well as managing over 275 Supply Chain consultants. He developed the methodologies, approach, and enabling tools (e.g., Value Chain Assessment Tool) to support SCM sales, business messaging, and training and created industry specific solutions that included technology solutions, value propositions, competitive differentiation, and industry visions.

John is a past President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) and a past Board Member of The Logistics Institute's (TLI) Leaders in Logistics at Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a frequent speaker and contributor on the subjects of Supply Chain Strategy, Supply Chain Planning, Global Supply Chain Operations, Supplier Relationship Management, and Warehouse and Distribution Design.
